Hello everybody! My name is Pavlina and I am a jewelry designer.
I’ve graduated from School of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering at National Technical
University of Athens. These studies, among others, helped me acquire a good 3D perception and a
designing capability. However, the engineering field was not for me, as my heart always spoke for
art.
My art journey from a professional point of view begins at the middle of 2020, when I shyly started
to create beaded jewelry. Soon I realised my work needed a “shelter” to be kept in, and then
@paavcreations was born. Why PAAV? Well, it’s because of my name! Actually, my friends often call
me “Paav”, instead of Pavlina. Also, these two aa, for me, attribute a tune to my name. “Pav” would
be very sharp (wouldn’t it?) !
Only 2 months after I started making beaded jewelry, I knew I needed to process metal, shape it,
change it, make it exactly as I want! At the end of 2020, I had the opportunity to work next to a great
goldsmith for five months. This period of time was my personal miracle. With eyes and ears wide
open, I was there to learn, to evolve.
In June, 2021, my personal workshop was step by step built, and, since then, the magical world of
jewelry design has never stopped amazing me.
I have attended classes of wax carving and 3D jewelry design (3DESIGN Jewelry CAD Software). The
greatest lesson of all, is my self-effort, my mistakes, my tries-and-errors. As I once read, “Every great
artist has a closet full of bad paintings”. Well, this quote is for me! Each small, or big mistake, leads
me to the most wonderful journey of knowledge.
In here, every piece of jewelry is handcrafted in my small workshop. I use recycled Sterling Silver, or
Solid Gold (14K or 18K). Each semiprecious gemstone used is carefully chosen and acquired by local
shops. Each jewelry package is made from recyclable materials (paper) and the giftboxes are hand-
painted and unique.
For you that know me already, thank you from the bottom of my heart for your love and support.
For each new creature out there, now getting to know my work, welcome!
I hope you enjoy this journey of mine as I do.
xxx Paav
